DIRECTV Nomad: Transfer DirecTV DVR’s Contents to External Device
Tomorrow will be the official launch day of DIRECTV Nomad which allows you to transfer contents from DirecTV DVR to external device like a PC or mobile device. The Nomad can store 200 hours of SD and 100 hours of HD. If you need more space, you can plug a USB device to its USB port.

The Nomad users must have an internet connections and a DVR with HD DVR mode HR2X or above to work. The internet connection is used to connecting the Nomad to your account. Once the connection terminated, all saved contents will be erased. The saved contents can be transferred to iOS device, Android device, or PC. These devices must be installed DIRECTV app first and unfortunately the contents available for 30 days only.

The DIRECTV Nomad will be priced at $149.99 and $9.99 for shipping. It’s not available for lease. Via: DIRECTV.
