Install LiVES Video Editor on Ubuntu 11.10

In this post I will share you how to install LiVES, an open source video editor and VJ Tool. To install LiVES you have to add the Ferramosca Roberto PPA. Here’s the complete guide.
Open the Terminal window (press CTRL-ALT-T) and type in the following commands.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/lives
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lives

After the installation has completed, you could start the LiVES by pressing Windows logo and type: “lives”. For more information about LiVES Video Editor, you can go to their home page.
