Windows Server 2008 Audio Service is not Running

Hello all, in this post I will show you how to fix error around your audio in Microsoft Windows Server 2008. This error will make you can not hear any sound from your computer, either from the real PC or from virtual machine.

This error is characterized by the appearance of an icon like this.
Windows Server 2008 Audio Service is not Running
In addition to the images above, there is other picture that look at the “Customise” option from the taskbar like this picture.
To quickly resolve the issue, perform the steps below:
  1. Press Windows key + R and type "services.msc"
  2. Find the Windows Audio service like the pict. below
  3. Double click the Windows Audio
  4. Set the Startup type to Automatic
  5. Click Start, wait the service to be loaded and click OK to complete the process

Now your Windows Audio should be run normally. The error icon will be changed like the picture below.

    When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added
    I get four e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
